Filter Installation – PC

Depending on the system definition the customer may need the 32bit or the 64bit version of the filter.

To ensure that you get the latest version we made a general link for each of the two versions:

Livigent IC 32bit (x86) – ic32.gthelps.com
Livigent IC 64bit (x64) – ic64.gthelps.com

Configuration

Once the file is downloaded, Open it and click Next

2. The installer will ask to close all of the files that are currently in use by other processes, Click Close All and then click YES to kill all of the processes that could not close safely. ( Any unsaved data will be lost )

3. Click Install for the online services connection.

4. The Launch Livigent IC Config Dialog box should be checked, then click Finish

5. Enter the IC Profile Name from the CRM, in the User* input box and the IC Profile password from the CRM, in the Password input box and click Apply. Do not change the Machine Hash or Profile values, all entries are case sensitive.

6. Click on the Status Tab and then click Policy refresh and wait for about 30 seconds for it to connect the device with the server.

Settings for UK Users

Copy the following lines and paste them into the Advanced Config box under the Settings tab.

Settings to put a computer on proxy

Copy the following lines and paste them into the Advanced Config box under the Settings tab.

Uninstalling – PC

On the computer go to Control Panel > Programs and Features > Uninstall a Program.
Find Livigent in the List and click Uninstall.
Copy the machine key and enter it into the CRM > Settings tab > Uninstall code box.
Click Request Uninstall Code.
Enter the generated code into the Uninstaller on the computer.
If you get an error message, you may need to close the uninstaller on the computer and reopen it. This will generate a new code.

Troubleshooting

Replacing SSL Certificate

If there’s an error when going to HTTPS site:

Open the Start menu and search for certmgr.msc.
Click on Trusted Root Certificates.
Delete the existing Livigent Certificate.
Download the up-to-date Livigent certificate file.
Click on Action > All Tasks > Impor*t > Next* > Browse.
Select All Files from the menu at right to see the cacert.pem file in the list.
Select the cacert.pem file, and finish importing.
If the issue persists, you may need to import the certificate into the browser (see browser’s settings).
