1. On the device go to: Settings > General > About – get the last 4 characters of the serial number.
2. On the device go to: Settings > General > Profiles – get the 2 digits listed on the GenTech profile
3. Load the account in the CRM, go to Settings > Device Management and enter the 4 characters of the serial number into the serial number field.4. Enter the Uninstall code. Use 6 digits (0220 followed by the 2 digits on the device profile) as the uninstall code.
5. Press the Request Uninstall Code button to generate an uninstall code.6. On the device go to: Settings > General > Profiles. Press the Remove Profile button. The device may ask for the screen lock password (have the user enter the lockscreen password from his device– if needed).
7. Enter the generated code to remove the profile.
Uninstalling iOS (for older installers)
1. On the device go to: Settings > General > About – get the last 4 characters of the serial number.
2. Load the account in the CRM and enter the 4 characters from the serial number into the ” Serial Number ” field.
3. Enter the Uninstall code. The default uninstall code is 0220.
4. Press the Request Uninstall Code button to generate an uninstall code.
5. On the device go to: Settings > General > Profiles. There should be 1 or 2 profiles depending on the version that was installed.
6. Press the Remove Profile button. The device may ask for the screen lock password (have the user enter the lockscreen password from his device– if needed).
7. Enter the generated code to remove the profiles.
The process is the same for both profiles.
